  • 🤸‍♀️ Why Do I Work Out? ⁣🏃‍♀️
⁣
No, the answer is NOT to look a certain way. Yes, working out and doing specific workouts does help with that and ultimately if you keep at it, with a balanced diet, you will achieve those looks you want. But working out is soo much more than that! ⁣
⁣
For me, it's about feeding my entire body, including my mind with NOURISHMENT, POSITIVITY and a super boost of ENERGY! Working out every morning has done wonders for me. My mood has noticeably been better, internally I feel amazing, I don't have frequent negative thoughts or worries... and yes, it is because of working out! Physical activity actually releases endorphins that enhance your mood (happy chemicals if you will)!! ⁣
⁣
It has also made me more productive... the boost of energy lasts me all morning. I get more done before noon that I ever did! No wonder so many new offices have in-home gyms... they WANT you to get that work out in so you are more PRODUCTIVE! ⁣

All this, plus making sure I am active as ever to chase around our little angel is why I work out! Cant wait to take her hiking up Mount Harder one day (inshallah)! The looks, post baby weight loss, better skin... those are all just bonuses! ⁣

A few days ago we celebrated our 2 year anniversary, and I couldn't be more thankful. I adore him and the life we have built together and ofcourse the little bundle of joy we have brought into this world together. Alhumdullilah. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Although this has been an amazing two years for us, I dont want to diminish the hard work we have put into making it what it is. Not everything is shared on instagram, and it shouldnt be, a lot of our relationship is private and between us, which is something I value more than anything. ⁣⁣
⁣
⁣I know as you read this you may think, 2 years is nothing... what does she know. But I beg to differ... I think that first couple years of ANYTHING (marriage, career, new hobby) are the most trying and the building blocks of that foundation. I truly believe that with this foundation we can continue to grow and form a relationship that is perfect for us. ⁣⁣
⁣
We have our ups and downs, our hurdles and our own challenges, but it is our teamwork and communication that has made such a strong foundation for this marriage. I love that I can talk to my husband about anything, and that I share any problem, angst or worry with him first. ⁣We talk to eachother - not our friends, not our families... that is what has kept us going strong. We COMMUNICATE. We always work as a TEAM, whether it is in opposition to our own families, or through an argument we are having with ourselves, we know that we have to lift each other and be there for eachother, because we are the ones who are in this and it is up to us to make it a positive experience. ⁣

I just asked him what he thinks and and he agrees... WOOHOOO 🎉 I'm not saying we are experts or anything even close to it, but I am saying that we all have challenges, whether it is in your marriage, family, fitness journey, whatever it may be, but it is up to us to find solutions and work hard to achieve success. ⁣⁣

🎆 Never let negativity take power over your life. God is the best of planners, work hard and watch your life blossom. 🎆
