FOOD SHOPPING LIST 📝
I receive quite a few messages asking what I buy on my food shop each week 🛒 I plan alllll of my meals first and then write out my shopping list so I don’t waste money on unnecessary things. So this is my shopping list for tonight - yes, I’m rock & roll going food shopping on a Saturday night 💁🏻♀️ I have a busy weekend though so needs to be done! If only I could go in my pyjamas 😂

I often think that if you find someone’s discarded shopping list in your trolly, you could adopt it and make something from the list; turn your shopping trip into a psychogeographical drift.
Some analysis. The note paper indicates they like cats but there is no cat food on the list.
This shopper is fond of but selective in their use of the ‘grocers’ apostrophe’. The placing of an unnecessary apostrophe in plural nouns is applied to pots and onions but not fish fingers (or fingees) or chips. Cabbages was possibly saved from the indignity of this slapdash grammatical idiocy by the afterthought that 2 cabbages were required.
Turkey loses an ‘e’ which may be bad spelling but also throws up a conundrum. There is little on this list that goes with turkey, unless turkey and cabbage is a thing I don’t know about. There is another possibility: perhaps removing the ‘e’ from turkey is a code. By changing the last 2 letters in turkey from ‘ey’ to ‘ky’, whoever wrote the list is in need of a water-based lubricant, but too embarrassed to write the product down should someone scope it. So instead, they decided to disguise K-Y in ‘turky’ but weren’t too embarrassed about misspelling turkey.

It’s been a long process but getting the kids to incorporate healthier eating habits is a bit easier but still a struggle. I still let them eat what they like and get them their treats after all these are growing boys in sports . I can’t even tell you how much Kennedy can eat ..lol he has been so so good at trying new things . That has been my main struggle with with him and Mason. The rest of them will try it but these two seriously 🤦🏻♀️ @jeilynferndzz has been such a great help with getting Kennedy to try new things. You know that phrase “the things you do for love “ hahah yup that’s it with Kennedy. .

Meal planning for us is seriously for the kids is super hard but we make it work somehow. They are all so so different.. as for Lennox give him all the broccoli in the world ... .

We will soon have a new program with tons of nutrition help for children which is a serious game changer and I can’t wait to share with you all some more. So stayed tuned. .
