- surround yourself w positive people. negativity is contagious🦄
- practice positive self talk. we’re often harder on ourselves than anyone else!
- smile. laugh. sit up straighter. not sure on the science here, but idk i find my internal language often mirrors my body language. maybe it's bullshit, maybe it's maybelline. you have nothing to lose by at least trying, right?
- when shit hits the fan - and it will because this is life and nothing ever happens the way we want it to - don't freak out. tell yourself to calm the heck down if u need. getting your panties in a twist does nothing to change the situation. it's done. you can't control what happened, but you absolutely can control how you react to the situation. be calm, be accepting, be forgiving. understand that everything is going to be okay, the world will keep spinning, the sun will still rise tomorrow, and you bet it will be a beautiful sunrise. seek positivity. there is always something good to be found. find it, and everything else will follow.
- above all of this, know that this takes work, d. you don’t just snap your fingers and become a positive person. think of ur brain as a muscle and exercise it to get the results you want 💪🏻

Woke up craving ✨Healthy Oatmeal✨ for breakfast. Instead of using traditional oatmeal, I used @BobsRedMill High Fiber Hot Cereal which contains 10g fiber and 8g of protein. Topped with fresh raspberries. chia and @wild_friends Almond Cashew Super Butter. Had a cup of🥛 for extra protein. This breakfast is packed with over 15g of fiber and close to 20g of protein and will keep me fueled all morning! 😋 This is a @Healthy_Lifeways Phase 1 breakfast.

Good Saturday Morning!! I decided to join a friend on a whole 30. Which I haven’t done for a while.
If any of you guys have been following for along, you may remember that I said I would never do a whole 30 again. 😆
Well- promises were made to be broken. 😂
And I’m doing it for a friend 💕
I started out today with a bullet proof coffee. (12 oz Black coffee blended with 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp clarified butter). .
1- It’s better than black coffee.
2-It’s leaving a film on my teeth.
3- It’s not sweet at all!
And I’m pretty sure I won’t need Chapstick today.

do you soak your nuts? yes I am serious😬 although nuts are an incredible source of vitamins, minerals, protein etc. they are DIRTY and natural have a high amount of phytic acid (not exactly harmful, but does leach the vitamins and minerals from us in the digestive tract) + just ate extremely hard to digest if not prepared properly. sure, you can buy a $17 bag of sprouted nuts...OR you can buy organic in bulk, soak for 8-12 hours in salted water, rinse clean several times and dehydrate until dry and crisp. sounds like a lot of work but if you do lots at a time it’s easy and they last much longer in a glass jar in a dark cool place of fridge. not only are they easier to digest, they taste so much better💓HAPPY SATURDAY! I am heading to Copenhagen to meet my dad who flew in yesterday and enjoy this beautiful sunny day ☀️
This Trader Joes everything bagel seasoning is so good. I started using it in literally everything: my eggs, chicken, avocado toast. Recently I just heard they sell it in bulk at Costco which I definitely have to check out. I prepped one of my favorite lunches for today because I knew I wouldn’t be home until the late afternoon. Chicken wings with ghee and everything bagel seasoning. So easy and good. 1 pound of chicken wings, 1 tablespoon of ghee, and 1 tablespoon of @traderjoes everything bagel seasoning. Bake on 400 for 40 minutes, flip after 20 minutes. Then, place on broil for 2 minutes. ENJOY!

🥑🥗 Avocado topped with everything-but-the-bagel spice complements a bowl of roasted chard and acorn squash with baby arugula, olive oil, and a splash or two of apple cider vinegar.
🐟Two more sardines would've been ideal but I have to share these fishies with my daughter.😄 Don't worry - I got more protein in later.

🔸Hamburguesas de Pollo con Espinacas Caseras:
*Ingredientes para hacer hamburguesas📝.
•500gr de pollo ,sin piel,huesos,ni nervios.
•100gr de espinacas escaldadas o salteadas (200gr de espinacas frescas).
•1 Diente de ajo.
•2 Cucharadas de pan rallado.
•Aceite de Oliva.
✔️ Hacemos un sofrito con ajo y cebollita bien picada.
✔️Cuando la cebolla este frita echamos las espinacas y lo cocinaremos un par de minutos,lo dejaremos templar.
✔️En una batidora de vaso o procesador de alimentos,ponemos el pollo ,el sofrito,el huevo & pan rallado.(Lo trituraremos a nuestro gusto).
✔️Con las manos untadas llenas de aceite hacemos la forma de la hamburguesa,lo ponemos en papel mecha y al horno para poder manejarlas mejor. ✔️ya que así no estas utilizando más aceite y salen mas jugosas.

CONFESSION: Last week I made the worst batch of protein balls. The flavor I was shooting for just totally failed and it turned into a HUGE batch from my efforts to try to fix it. It was just BAD. 😬
We don’t waste in the house though, so my husband has been sucking it up and eating the weird, almost flavorless balls for the past two weeks. There’s still a weeks worth left... 🤣 like I said, it was a HUGE batch! Usually I make a batch to last a week and then switch up the flavor. .
But weekly meal prep is right around the corner for many of you and protein balls are our favorite thing to keep on hand...I’m currently brainstorming a new flavor to make (it WILL be a success, honey!), but I can’t seem to get these Maple Bacon Protein Balls off my mind. They’re salty, sweet, packed with healthy fats and protein from collagen peptides (I usually use @mynaturalforce) and they’re just plain delicious! They’re dairy, gluten, and grain free, but I promise, you won’t classify them as some typical “health food snack!”👌🏻
...Maybe I should go with making these next in order to repay my husband for his endurance. 🤣 .
