How can we all demand quality in the lives of those #whomadeyourclothes
Winter is always a hard topic when it comes to colour. Most people prefer to just go with black or darker tones as it simplifies their choices. This comes at the cost of self-expression and personal happiness.
That’s why I’ve decided to do a little experiment and show you how to include light colours in your winter wardrobe. Have a look at this new video if you’d like to get inspired. I’ve managed to put together a light coloured sustainable wardrobe that consists of 7 tops, 5 bottoms, 2 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes and a bag. In total, this resulted in 38 interchangeable looks in a casual style with classic elements. ❤️ Watch the full video on YT or the blog. (Link in the bio)
These are my people 😍 My kids are so obsessed with their daddy and I can see why😏 Thanks love for all that you do for us. We couldn’t live life without you! Your such a good man and you have a heart of gold ♥️ @tone_star06

Ladies! 😮 I was so shocked when our founders announced an amazing generous offer to the advocate community at the retreat! 💓 I'm sharing the love with YOU! 💓

It’s not often we have days that bring us to our knees with gratitude and joy. This photo was taken on one of those days. My final day visiting the artisans I’m working with in Oaxaca. The hard work was behind me, this day was simply about documenting and getting to know them better. I was totally overwhelmed with beauty on this day. That night I sat in my favorite restaurant by myself, looked at the photos I had taken, and simply could not keep the tears from my eyes and the smile from my face. As someone who has struggled with depression on and off for over 10 years, moments like these are extremely precious and true victories. I’m so excited about where this new life project will take me and proud to say that I am the one who got myself here.
Customers often ask us how long the toilet brushes last for and I would say it’s dependent on how well it gets to dry in between uses. Ideally you want to store it somewhere it will have air moving all around it like the one pictured, not shoved back into a corner.
The brush on the left lasted about 7 months before I thought it was probably a good time to change it out. I’d say that’s pretty good!
Set sold for $275 HKD; replacement brushes for $80 HKD. Hope you have a great start to the week!

STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD AND EDUCATE THE YOUNG
Well, this penguin was actually born like the others, but is simply the only adult around! Newly hatched chicks are fluffy brown. They will lose their baby penguin fluff as they grow into adulthood whilst developing black and white feathers with a signature patch alongside the neck.
There are 18 species of penguin and they are found in a variety of countries, all the way from Antarctica to the equator.
Fossil records show that there were at least 25 species of penguin in the past, several of which have gone extinct.
These flightless wonders can endure temperatures that would kill us in an instant, winds that would blow us right over, and swim beneath ice caps we’ve barely begun to explore. With 90% of the world’s water sources now classified as contaminated by micro plastics and synthetic toxins, we’re putting their lives in danger. And for what? They swim, fish, and raise their cute little babies in that water, so we owe it to them to change the way we live our own lives. Don’t just think of your own family today...think of theirs too…we too can educate our generations to come.

✨When ideas manifest into reality✨ This spring we will be launching a line of wall-hanging rugs, designed in collaboration with artist Gabriela Sans, produced through a 100% natural artisanal process in Oaxaca, Mexico. Here’s a sneak peak of our first design in production on the loom. We can hardly believe our eyes 🙈 or control our excitement 🙊 over this project!
This is Josephina Méndez López, master weaver. The loom she weaves on is a traditional wooden foot-operated loom that requires full body coordination to run. This exact type of loom has been in use for over 2,500 years. Weaving large textiles, like rugs, is generally a tradition passed down through men, but Josephina was her fathers only child, so he passed down the family tradition to her. Josephina and her family fulfill the entire rug-making process from beginning to end. That means, they start with sheep’s wool, spin the wool into yarn, use traditional natural dying techniques to create any color they desire, then weave the wool into intricate patterned rugs. Meeting Josephina and her family was an experience that brought immense joy to the Tierra y Mano team. Our idea was to ask Josephina if she was willing to make wall hanging rugs for us with designs we gave her. This idea was met with a totally open mind. Though a little nervous at the prospect, she is excited to try something new. We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Josephina and her family as the artisans who will be weaving our line of wall-hanging rugs. There is so much more to share about this truly amazing process and where this very exciting project is headed. We hope you will love it as much as we do!
