This beautiful piece by @banksy was stolen last night. This touching gift was left by the artist on the backdoor of the @bataclanofficiel, the very one hundreds of people used to fled the venue where people were slaughtered on this terrible evening of the 13th of November 2015. This piece was a symbol for all of us. Sometimes, art has no price. Shame on you pathetic thieves #13novembre2015#130victimes#bansky#lebataclan#paris#parisattacks
Attending NAMM tomorrow (Thursday)? Join us from 1:30–3:30 PM, in Hilton Level 4, A5 for "It Doesn’t Get More Real Than This: Mortal Danger at Shows" ⠀
Live events give rise to a huge variety of potential dangers, from the health and safety of touring professionals to crowd management and event security. This session will feature two presenters with the unenviable distinction of seeing people die at their shows. Sue McGuirl, co-Chair of the Event Safety Alliance’s Advisory Council, will talk with Shawn London, who was the sound engineer for Eagles of Death Metal at the Bataclan nightclub. Attorney and ESA vice president Steven Adelman will moderate.
