  • Regram from @panaceas_pantry - Chewy Pecan brownie with roast almond butter frosting 💕 Tag your photos with #gloobyfood and we will regram our favourites . Ingredients. 💥 . 2 cup pecans 1 ½ cups Medjool dates, pitted (or any soft date) ½ tsp. Good quality salt 2/3 cup raw cacao powder ½ cup coconut flour ¼ cup rice malt syrup/pure maple syrup 🍎 Frosting; ❤️ ¼ cup roasted almond butter ¼ cup cashews, soaked for 4 hours then drained and rinsed ¼ cup coconut cream (full fat) 2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted ¼ cup rice malt syrup/pure maple syrup 🍎 Method 💕 For the brownie- 💥 Add nuts, coconut flour, cacao and salt to a high-speed food processor. Blend until a rough flour has formed. Add remaining ingredients and blend until a sticky ball forms. Press the mixture into a prepared tin (we use a 15cm square tin, lined with baking paper). 💥 . For the frosting- 💕 Melt the coconut oil & set aside to cool Combine all your frosting ingredients in a high-speed blender (excluding the coconut oil) & blend until well combined Add the melted coconut oil & blend again. Pour the mixture over your brownie & then transfer to the freezer to set To serve; remove from freezer and allow to defrost for 5 minutes. Remove from tin, then cut into 10 bars. Enjoy straight away or store in the fridge (for up to 5 days) or the freezer ((for up to a month).

  • Dans le précédent post je vous ai parlé de l'impact de gluten sur notre organisme 👉 #glutenfreevilliger ⠀ On m'a demandé de raconter sur les produits qui contiennent du gluten👍 ⠀ Alors, si vous décidez d'exclure le gluten de votre ration, voici la liste des produits à supprimer : -- céréales : blé, avoine, seigle, orge, boulgour, semoule 🍞 -- pâtisseries et sucreries 🥨 -- surimi, saucisses et saucisson 🌭 -- sauces toutes prêtes, soupes et bouillons en cubes (sauf si c'est marqué gluten free) -- amidon et pomme de terre 🥔 -- boissons alcoolisées à base de céréales, par exemple, la bière 🍺 ⠀ Du premier coup, cette liste peut paraître violante. Mais il ne faut pas avoir peur😱 ⠀ Aujourd'hui on trouve facilement les biscottes de sarrasin ou maïs (préférable qu'il soit marqué gluten free). ⠀ Aussi on trouve différents types de farine :sarrasin, maïs, pois chiche.   • Hey guys, today’s my 6th day in a row without exercise because I’ve been sick 😡🤒🤢 . . I wanted to make sure that I really stress the fact that when you are not sick, you are including some sort of functional training in your routine. . . It’s cool that you can deadlift/ bench press a sh*t ton of weight, but when you can’t even control your own body and don’t have stability, you are just setting yourself up for injury. . . Take advantage of all the modalities your gym has to offer! Some exercise modalities include: - Kettlebells - Battle ropes - Medicine balls - Stability balls - BOSU balls - Slam balls - Boxes - Resistance bands - VIPRs - TRX - etc...... . . You’ll find that doing this type of training will actually help with gains in other areas as well! Stronger lifts! Get out and go get it! . . Also, I know it sucks but if you are sick, DO NOT EXERCISE. It will only prolong the sickness and make it worse. Get your rest and hopefully it passes shortly!   • When you get up early to make a breakfast that is not shoved into a plastic bag and eaten on the way to work at 7:30am>>> When you’re half way through your breakfast and realize you forgot to snap a picture for instagram <<< 😐 Life’s about balance my friends (something I’m slowly learning). I’ve had a bit of a rocky start with classes this semester, averaging 5 hours of sleep and failing more tests and quizzes than passing. These classes are definitely more work than I’ve ever been used to and because of that I had to quit work last week. In my eyes quitting work has always looked like a failure and I had convinced my self that I could balance both... but I couldn’t and that is okay! I have 20 more hours a week now to focus on school and the things that make me human (I.e. not living off protein powder and granola bars and going to the gym once every two weeks). So cheers to that 🍻 Also this breakfast may look like a weird combo but I promise you it tastes much better than it looks, and it’s kitchen free friendly😋!
