Jeff is on point. To be successful you are going to have to be thick skinned. You are going to have to be able to ignore the critics and haters and not allow the criticism to affect your decision making. Remember you will never be able to please everyone not should you try.

I believe the universe initiates before us before we can become who we’re meant to be. And Success will beat us with an ugly stick before we pass that test.
If your backs against the wall, push the fuck on.
If someone tears you down, stand back up.
No matter how great the defeat, how painful the blow... you NEVER GIVE UP💯
One of the biggest reasons I never want to be seen as some sort of self-help guru (although the beard shows otherwise) is because I do a lot of dumb shit. I make mistakes, and I'll continue to make mistakes, and because of that, it doesn't feel right to claim myself as a source of some special wisdom. I eventually realized that it was my ability to (sometimes) learn from my dumb shit that was something worth sharing, so others could learn from their own dumb decisions. We fear making mistakes, but it's from those mistakes that we make progress and find light to move forward. I taught the 3rd grade, I know how to make complex ideas simple to digest, that doesn't mean I can make the work any easier; we all gotta do that work for ourselves, and when we do, we'll see the progress. It may not be overnight, but those baby steps do add up. #BLESS

Kind of morbid on Valentine’s Day but it’s so true. ☝🏼👍🏼
When I was in medical meeting at the tail end of my medical training - I went to a session with this financial planner/ career advisor kind of guy. During this meeting he asked the crowd, which looked primarily of retirement age, how many people were wanting to start a related or unrelated career or job after retire. I was so shocked to see most of the group had their hand up. And when he probed further it seemed that many of these people had wanted to pursue some fun passions or lifelong interests (inside or outside of medicine) but never got a chance. I was not even 30 at the time and it was so shocking to me that people were waiting until age 65 to personalize their career or pursue something they really loved. To their credit, they probably just didn’t have the time while in clinical medicine. There weren’t the options that we have now. Plus the Internet was not available at that time. The person I was sitting next was amazing though- During our breakout session and she told me about how she carved out medicine the way she saw it to be most beneficial to people. She had built a rural practice that is similar to our wellness practice today. She seems so grateful and happy. .
That meeting -and a series of books- taught me one thing. Don’t wait for later do it now. What are you waiting for? I’m sure you have something really amazing to contribute to this world and if you’re not contributing it – start now

The picture that almost didn’t make my IG feed. This is our 13th Valentine’s as Patron, but only our 6th being “physically together” here in California. Photo memories popping here and there serves as a reminder of how chubs we’ve grown together after our long distance status withdrawal. #LoveMakesYouChubs#noregrets#swipelefttosee 😄

Something about Rivers, lakes, oceans helps me put ideas into perspective, just being by it can help me focus and receive answers to challenges.
Yesterday's trip to the river unlocked a new collaboration, (will share details when confirmed.😃) Do you have a go to place you like to go to, to recharge or get inspiration.
Today is Day 6 of the biz plan challenge, all replays are on my Facebook page if you're curious but didn't sign up 🙃. Links @mstracydurrant

#reunificationpalace or #independencepalace was built on the location of the #norodompalace built by the #french in 1867 and name after the #Cambodian King at the time. The palace that stands on the same location today was the home of the South Vietnam President during the #vietnamwar in the 1970's. ❤🛫🇻🇳
It is now a #monument to one of the chapters that the Ho Chi Minh people have had to endure over its long and interesting history. Plenty of the #vietnamese residents are reluctant to call Ho Chi Minh City by its current name as they are still loyal to the city they once call #Saigon . There are several city tours that visit the palace and allow you to hear the stories of its history.
As far as #food in this part of the country, you will have the chance to sample all the well known Vietnamese dishes and a few options that may surprise you. Ho Chi Minh is the #economic hub of the #country which means you will find as most #international#cities it is a melding pot of culture, I think the impressive part is that the Vietnamese have not lost themselves in the process. I have been reading an article on @thecitylane and the 2 tips that Paul offers regarding the dining is eat where the #locals eat and #eat where you can see the food being prepared.
According to @2foodtrippers you are going to have missed something really unique and not experienced Ho Chi Minh if you focus on fine dining, the city has an amazing array of street food options and if you follow the directions of @thecitylane you will know the food is of high standard and without a doubt made with love. I believe that the bets Bahn Mi is found in Hoi An so in Ho Chi Minh make sure you try the Bun Bo Hue.

The face of the HAPPIEST DOG EVER... Just got home to find he’d gotten into my treat bag which was inside my backpack hanging up and he’d eaten every last crumb from 3 bags of treats 🐷🐶🤦🏼♀️ #noregrets#furpig
How good does it feel when you have someone in your corner?! Someone who understands where you’re going, what you need, and how to push you forward without making you fall on your face.
This week was HUGE for my side hustle. Rodan+Fields just launched a whole new product designed to truly change lives.
It was big. There was a flurry of excitement. Strategising. Bouncing ideas off each other. Sharing information. And trying to get this life changing product into the hands of those that need it the most.
Surrounding yourself with people who have your back, and who want to collaborate with you and see you succeed is SO important. We coach, we mentor and we support each other.
We’re part of a sisterhood. Changing one life at a time - starting with our own lives.
And the new product? A range designed to help ALL ACNE sufferers. Considering 84% of teenagers and up to 40% of adults suffer from acne, it’s a HUGE deal.
I get to help people eliminate the emotional and physical scars associated with this heartbreaking skin condition.
THIS is why I do what I do.
If you need help, or if your son, daughter, nephew, niece or other loved one does, please message me. Xx
I’m sure by now you’ve probably seen a dozen ads on this Rodan and Fields line. Some great before and afters of skin or lashes maybe. Guys, this company is not going away, it is BLOWING UP!! -
I watched from afar myself for the past year and a half contemplating the possibility. Boy I wish I had jumped on when I first thought of it!! These products are AH-MAZING! Seriously the real deal! You do not have to be a sly salesman to do well and be successful here, the products speak for themselves. -
If you are looking to make some extra money, or maybe just want to earn enough to get your own Rodan and Fields for free, drop me a line. I would love to answer your questions and get you hooked up. Whatever you do, don’t sit and wait like I did. Someone else WILL jump in those shoes and take your place.
10 months ago all my bags were packed 📦 and my entire apartment was empty. A few days later the walls were painted 🎨. A final cleaning session ... keys 🗝️ were handed over and suddenly it seemed as if I've never lived there 🌬️ That's so crazy! It feels like a completely different life. Buuuut NO REGRETS I would definitely do it again.
If there is something I would like to wish for, then it's probably that all of you gain the ability to change a "someday" into a "Why not tomorrow, or what about now?!" Everything you might gain is so much better and bigger than all the barriers upfront, but most of you already know that. One's weaker self is ever-present, isn't it?
What if you just shout "stop" and start playing by your own rules?! Cheers
