Happy Valentine’s Day out there to all you lovers and friends 😘✌🏼
There’s one piece of advice I always give, and that is when your wedding day arrives - be a bride. Soak it all in and enjoy every part of your day. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as when a bride radiates happiness. #CapturedByChristianOth

She lived in Caesarea (Turkey) during the Diocletian persecution of Christians. Legend has it, that she was ordered to sacrifice to the pagan gods and refused. On the way to her execution, a young lawyer, Theophilus, mockingly asked her for “fruits and flowers from the garden” in which she proclaimed was in heaven. A basket of #fruit and #flowers was delivered to her by an angel which she gave to young Theophilus, who then converted and was also martyred. That’s why she’s the patron saint of florists. ...
With the proper planning you buy life insurance today for tomorrow. You might not understand that it's cheapest when you're youngest and healthiest - which for most of us is now. If you'd allow me the opportunity to sit down with you. I can show you that buying it early you'll actually save enough in premiums to account for months or even years of savings versus if we wait a couple years. I get it, it's an extra cost, but just imagine if you have it now and you can’t get it later. There is always #gofundme lol. You will feel great knowing that you've taken steps to prepare your family for a financial future, even if you're not there to share it with them. Call me or DM me

#Throwback to when you could #findHaKahri#eloping in Paris!
The last time I was in Paris was in March 2012, on my post-grad Euro trip. It was my last hurrah before I would return to hopefully find a big girl job, a husband, and start a family.
That trip had many mishaps including a one hour delay at PHL leading to two days in transit before reaching my first destination, a fever in #Berlin, and a disastrous visit to Paris.
On my first day in #Paris, I got lost looking for the Picasso Museum. When I found it, a sign read, “Closed for renovations until April 2013.” The next day, when I found the Rodin Museum, it said the same! On the third and last day, I went to Au Lapin Agile, a #cabaret house #Picasso frequented. Upon arrival I saw a sign read, “Closed due to water damage. Open tomorrow.” I couldn’t help but laugh because I knew this much misfortune MUST have meant I would return home safely and because it was honestly hilarious! I also knew that missing out on all those things in Paris only meant I had to come back with the love of my life, and enjoy them with him. And on January 5, 2019, I did!
After we exchanged our vows, we celebrated our union with photos at #PlaceduTrocadero, breakfast at #ShakespeareandCompany, a bath, a nap, and some cake in #Montmartre, the Picasso Museum, shopping in #Marais, a dinner of classic French food and #champagne, and finally a show at #AuLapinAgile. It was literally a dream come true.
My post grad trip taught me that as much as I love to plan and avoid risk, nothing ever goes according to plan. I have to accept challenges, adapt, and continue to enjoy my experiences. It taught me I didn’t have to adhere to traditional expectations and I let go of the idea that I had a specific timeline to do certain things.
I love traveling alone because I’m forced out of my comfort zone but get to do things on my terms. I can go with the flow, learn about myself, and really take everything in.
But Kahri and I make a great team at home and abroad. I couldn’t imagine a better visit to Paris, or anywhere else, without him. ❤️ Happy #Valentine’s Day, my #foreverValentine.
