Arrived Brunei Airport for the second time and this time I had the opportinities to explore the place and even had my first glance of the airport itself - Beautiful white and clean - seems like a new airport. I checked wikipedia and found out it was completed in 2013 and more development stages to come in 2020. Saw the amazing layered of waved roof structures - reminded me of the Kampung Ayer River wave. My first arrival was very late, night time - arrived and checked out straightaway to my hotel transfer chaffeur. It was really dark and didn't know how the airport looked like.
So here I was at the airport, thanks to Dart Taxi (Brunei version of Uber/Grabcar/Qrgo) who was able to pick us up from Brunei Waterfront Bus Stop. I managed to take few shots of my explorations throughout the airport and one of the most interesting one will be the beautiful Brunei International Airport Mosque (from previous instagram page) where Sultan of Brunei or family members will pray in the mosque before departure to overseas. Another one will be the tourist information centre which is very close to the entrance to the mosque. Great display of art, painting, photography, architecture, history, religion and culture of Brunei. If you happen to visit Brunei for the first time like me, do go to the counter for more insight travel destinations in Brunei.
