  • Homegrown dahlias and old panelling taking us into the weekend - hurrah. The colours in the garden are fading to apricots and burnished pinks. The leaves are starting to fall and after last year’s raking efforts we’ve invested in a leaf blower. There’s a seasonal shift in the air today, enough to make me think about jumpers and the fact that our side of the house still has no heating! One day. 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂

  • Way back in 2013, I shared some random thoughts on happiness, gratitude & meaning on the blog. Today, I’m working on putting together a resource to help others intentionally cultivate these things in their life - a practice I myself still participate in. I can’t wait to share it with you! #makelight #happiness #gratitude #meaning #tbt

  • Last nights Full moon in Virgo is about realising dreams . It is a time of planting seeds and future plans. I recommend listening to the latest Bliss & Grit podcast about a new vision of yourself. I love joining Brooke and Vanessa as they explore deep and relevant issues of life, health and the soul. I wish you all beautiful dreams and happy growing.

  • An early morning walk in Brighton before I returned home . I had a wonderful time with family and friends. Always some sadness at leaving and delight when coming home & seeing the green hills.

  • Roses are some of my all time favorites. I’m adding a couple new varieties this year and can hardly wait! The beauty, the fragrance...give me all of it! PS I’m a Kordes rose lover. People always ask me about my faves. Their disease resistance and prolific, repeat blooming make them a winner for me.
