Last time I was somewhere tropical was in Puerto Rico. I booked a one way flight in search of a taste of the island life and to get decent at riding a surfboard. The pupperino and I ended up staying for a month and a half. We spent our days playing on the beach, surfing, exploring & eating huge avocados. I fell in love with surfing (still suck at it but baby steps guys). I left when I ran out of money. It was rad to take myself from the environment I know so well - mountain life - and try the opposite.
I am very excited to dip into island life for a brief visit & paddle out in some warm water soon!
Major throwback shot to celebrating my 30th birthday in Ischia, one of the most beautiful relaxing places I have ever been. This beautiful weather today making me want to book a holiday and have some proper warmth ! 💜
warning: lots of cringe worthy content by the milk and coffee! 👅🙊
listening to this song makes me wanna sing along but can’t even absorb these lyrics and they’re in filipino (Tagalog-national language, which everyone speaks in the country) lol it’s just not one of my amazing weird talents unfortunately so literally just humming noises right now😝
Viva is a brand of bottled water in Philippines, it has a lot of meaning in other languages such as “to live” in Spanish and "with living voice" in Latin I think ill double check with google later.😝
we just adapted lots of Spanish words from being colonised for 400 years by the spaniards ok so that’s your quick history for you bye.
off the topic thought: so cool to see restaurants aren’t allowed to occupy the beach at night anymore!
they used to set their tables by sun set literally on the beach but now you can enjoy a long walk in peace without getting jealous of the fancy food people are eating🙊hehehe
