Goals, vision, objectives.... We all know they’re mildly important, right? .
My twin brother, that weird excuse me great human back there dancing, and I were chatting and we touched on a subject that I feel is important to keep in mind .
Having a clear objective to aim for, whether it be work related, health, financial, relationship, personal, whatever related-is so crucial to set for self-growth. .
BUT, I feel like we often only let ourselves feel happy WHEN we’ve achieved that goal- forgetting that joy can not only found in finishing something, but also in doing it. Forgetting that the process of getting to this goal is just as important as the goal itself. Getting to the goal doesn’t have to be just a stressful deadline that you’re trying to zip through! Stay interested with an open mind, grateful for each step along the way, because the “getting there”, makes the whole goal experience in and of itself. .
Don’t get me wrong- work hard, work freaking relentlessly!!! But enjoy it- keep learning, stay woke 🤟😂, and have fun along the way, EVEN if you may not be where you want to be, yet 😉☺️

Strogonoff de frango fit com batata doce
1/2 peito de frango cortado em cubos;
2 dentes de alho;
1 pitada de sal;
pimenta do reino a gosto;
1 batata doce cozida.
1 copo de molho de tomate caseiro;
1 copo de leite de arroz;
2 colheres de sopa de biomassa de banana verde.
Modo de preparo:
Descasque a batata doce e cozinhe. Tempere o frango com alho, limão, sal e pimenta e logo em seguida refogue no molho de tomate. Deixe cozinhar essa mistura em uma panela por 15 minutos com um pouco de água. Em seguida adicione o leite de arroz já previamente batido com a biomassa e incorpore. Espere engrossar, coloque temperos verde a gosto. Escorra a batata já cozida, corte em rodelas, tempere com uma pitada de sal e pimenta e sirva como acompanhamento do strogonoff.

No doubt that this past week and this upcoming week have been/are going to be the busiest weeks I’ve had so far this semester. But ya know what?! I’m pretty freakin happy😊.
The funk I was feeling last week, let me just say, I ain’t feeling it no more😎 And on top of that, I have so many exciting🤗things coming up so soon, and so much good in my life, that honestly what is there to be stressed about?!
No need to get all worked up and stressed out over school🤓 or anything in life for that matter, because it’s just going to make things worse. Focus on what you can control, and stop creating negative scenarios in your mind of what “could” happen. Have a plan and just do your best! •

DELOAD WEEK, I needed that!💪🏼
As I said in my previous post, this past week was a much needed deload week & the cheeseburger I had today! LOL 😋🍔
👉🏼What is a Deload Week❓
It’s a reduction in training intensity (weight being used) and/or training volume (sets performed).
Deload week is so beneficial, it allows for your body to recover before another period of heavy lifting. It also helps to prevent overtraining that can cause injury, alleviates any CNS fatigue, reduces joint & ligament strain & any other stress caused to the body.
🧐Is it necessary❓
IMO, if you are constantly pushing yourself via progressive overload then you may benefit from a deload week. Especially when you are performing heavy compound lifts this can quickly add stress on the body. Also, if you feel joint pain, your energy levels seem too low, your workouts feel extremely hard & it’s causing you to be less motivated to workout you might benefit from it.
👉🏼How often should it be implemented❓
It really depends on each individual; everyone is different. But if you’re doing a heavy & intense training 8-10 weeks, or even earlier if you are in a deficit. If you’re new to weight-lifting you might not need to implement it as often but it’s totally up to you; it would hurt.😉
