  • Cosmic Brownie Protein Donuts! 🦄 - Save & Tag your friend you’d smash these with! - ✅ Macros for each Protein Donut with Toppings: 89.5 Cals, 7g Carbs, 1.5g Fat, 12g Protein! - ✳️ Ingredients for Protein Donut (makes 6): 30g @PEScience Gourmet Vanilla Select Protein (“FDL” saves you 15%) 15g Black Cocoa Powder (Can Sub Unsweetened Baking Cocoa but you will need to use twice as much and then up the coconut flour to 12g) 8g Coconut Flour 5g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice 5g Baking Powder 70g Greek Yogurt 70g Unsweetened Apple Sauce 75g Egg Whites 15g Rainbow Chips - ✳️ Protein Frosting for all 6 Donuts: 20g @PEScience Gourmet Vanilla Select Protein 10g Black Cocoa 45g Greek Yogurt 3g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice Cold Water to consistency of frosting 15g Rainbow Chips - ❇️ Directions: 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Now add your dry donut ingredients into a bowl (except for your rainbow chips) and mix to avoid clumping. Do the same with your weight ingredients in a separate bowl. Now combine dry with wet and mix till you have a thick batter like consistency. Now add your rainbow chips into your batter and mix those in. 2️⃣ Now take your donut pan (I have wilton 6 cavity one off amazon) and spray each donut mold with non stick butter spray. Add your batter evenly into all 6 molds. Add to oven and bake for 10 minutes. Once done, pop out carefully and let cool for an hour or so on a cooling rack till at room temp. 3️⃣ While those are cooling, make up your protein frosting by adding all the dry ingredients (except for rainbow chips) into a bowl and mixing to avoid clumping. Then add cold water 10ml at a time and mix till you have a nice frosting like consistency. Then add your 45g of your greek yogurt and mix well. Add to fridge to keep cool while donuts are cooling. 4️⃣ Once donuts are cool, add your frosting on top, some toppings and then enjoy! - Make sure to give this one a save so you have it handy when you are going to make it!

  • How many calories should you eat to lose weight? ⠀ ⠀ This is a basic calculation used to estimate your weight loss calories. However, you must remember that this is only an ESTIMATION. ⠀ ⠀ In practice, your needs can be quite different to what comes out of an equation. ⠀ ⠀ That's why it's crucial to use calculations like these as a guide, then test it and alter the numbers. ⠀ ⠀ - If you lose weight at the desired rate, keep eating those calories. ⠀ - If you don't lose any weight, reduce the calories slightly. ⠀ - If you lose weight too fast, increase the calories slightly. ⠀ ⠀ Now here's an example calculation: ⠀ ⠀ Take a 35 year-old woman who measures 5’4” and 165 pounds. ⠀ ⠀ BMR = 665 + (4.35 x 165) + (4.7 x 64) – (4.7 x 35) = 665 + 717.75 + 300.8 – 164.5 ⠀ BMR = 1519 calories ⠀ ⠀ If this woman walks 4 times a week for 30 mins, occasionally goes to the gym, and works a sedentary job, her activity factor would be between 1.3 and 1.4. We'll go with 1.35 for this example. ⠀ ⠀ Maintenance calories = BMR x 1.35 = 1519 x 1.35 = 2050 ⠀ ⠀ If she decides to lose 1 lb a week, we would reduce her daily calories by 500 cal. ⠀ ⠀ So her starting daily calorie target would be 2050-500 = 1550 calories. ⠀ ⠀ But remember - this is an estimation ONLY. ⠀ ⠀ And this estimation is for a woman who would be classified as fairly sedentary, before you comment that this number is too low - its common for sedentary women who aren't tall to need much fewer calories than most people. ⠀ ⠀ This woman could eat this number and leave her activity as is, or she could choose to bump up her activity levels to eat more. ⠀ ⠀ This topic is incredibly complex and is usually not as simple as "just eat X calories to lose weight!" ⠀ ⠀ What's your experience been with calculating a calorie deficit? ⠀

I quit my job to go back to school, so my income went from something to zero. My parents are paying for everything, which is good cuz I'm not homeless. But I just feel like a loser. ________________________________ I envisioned myself to have a solid income at 21, but that hasn't turned out to be the case. I've said it before, but even through all the stress, I'm not feeling hopeless. I've always felt that I will be successful in life, One way or another, but currently it's just a down time. ________________________________ My application is in the process for this one position which I am very interested in. So pray for your boy and hopefully I'll get the job. ________________________________ Hope y'all are doing well. I swear to God yall better be staying hydrated and eating your veggies.
