Cela fera 1 mois samedi que j’ai commencé mon nouveau programme alimentaire by @whatsalimdoing et je sens vraiment la différence. Abdos moins visibles (est ce qu’ils l’ont été un jour même 😂) mais j’ai surtout une énergie qui déborde pendant les entraînements et je pousse beaucoup plus lourd 💪🏻
Je pensais honnêtement avoir du mal à accepter le fait de prendre du poids, prendre un peu de gras aussi, et au final je me sens tellement bien car je ne fais que progresser 🎉 Être bien entourée fait toute la différence croyez moi. Maintenant je n’ai plus peur de prendre du poids et je remercie énormément Salim pour ça 🙏🏻 #beunstoppable

Slowly getting my energy back💪🎉 I’ve been completely stumped as to why I’ve felt so run down since ALQ50K. I wasn’t nearly this tired after I ran it last year... and you know how the mind goes from chill... to totally freaking out about every possible catastrophic diagnosis on Dr. Google🤪 ...Or is that just me?🤔 Anyway, yesterday my brilliant friend @brittanylfarrell pointed out that I just ran a marathon AND a 50K four weeks apart... duh Jen🤦♀️ No wonder I’m tired!🤯🤓😂 Thank you for being my voice of sanity Brittany😜😘 I think as runners, we sometimes feel like just because our minds have endless energy, our bodies should too. But that’s just not the case for most of us. Learning our limits is an ongoing process, and knowing when to push those limits and when to back off takes time... and a quick smack upside the head from a friend helps too😂🥰 Happy Friday-Eve guys!💃🕺

I have been working hard trying to balance growing my YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and just overall reach on social media this year with my school work and two jobs on top of that. However, I have struggled with some classes this semester and I am trying something new before my two big exams on Tuesday.
After I post this I will be deleting Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube off my phone until after my tests on Tuesday.

52/365. SHOULDER WORKOUT
Today is a new day and a better one at that.
In my pursuit of becoming the delts queen, I am hitting you with a great shoulder workout.
My shoulders have always grown pretty fast, but also progressive overload is great for the shoulder.
Do drop sets and supersets to really kill those deltoids. That's why lateral raises into front raises had me weak.
Shoulders are stubborn little guys.
💪🏽strict press - 3 x 8 (45 lbs)
💪🏽shoulder press - 3 x 8 (25 lbs) *after strict pressing this exercise is a killer*
💪🏽lateral raise into front raises - 3x 8 into 3 x 12 (10 lbs in each hand)
💪🏽bent over cable flys - 3 x 8 (5 lbs)
💪🏽seated face pulls - 3 x 8 (35 lbs)
*the muscle placement might not be spot on... just an indicator so you know what you are working*
Let’s talk work/life balance!! I struggle to switch off and constantly think about work, which has had a detrimental effect on my mental health in the past!! Some top tips for maintaining a healthy work/life balance!! 1. Take personal responsibility for your work-life balance. Speak up if work expectations and demands are too much.
2. Try to 'work smart, not long'
3. Take proper breaks at work, walking outside in breaks if you can.
4. Try to ensure that a line is drawn between work and leisure. Try not to bring work home; and if you have to try and only work in one room, that you can close the door on!
5. Make sure you don’t sacrifice or underestimate the importance of protective factors, including exercise, leisure activities and friendships. I LOVE my job, but we also need to LOVE our lives!!
