Once upon a (very brief) time, we took selfies like this before school. 🤳🏼 The sun was shining ☀️, the birds were singing 🕊, and everyone was smiling 😁.
It is now mid-February + none of those things are true. The sun has been hidden for days 🌑, the birds have deserted us ❌, and there is more arguing than smiling on the way to school 🗣. (Who can really blame them, though. It looks like death outside + we are shivering, all the while MORE snow is coming down. 🌬)
So, in summation: SEND SPRING ASAP PLS + THX.
Sometimes you have this kid. The kid who stands to poop 💩. Sometimes I get a kid who doesn’t poop in any other position, not even in her sleep 😴. Not to worry! This kid will begin to sit to poop soon. The tough part is the TRANSITION from standing to sitting to poop. Don’t try to force your child to sit to poop. She’s never done it and won’t start because of force. Tell your kid what’s going on — say something like, “We have a silly problem! You have always pooped while standing, and now you have to sit to drop that poop in the potty. What can we do?” Your child may be able to help solve the problem! Sometimes just stating the problem out loud is all it takes! Some kids say, “Mooooom! I could just sit to poop!” If your kid still wants to continue to stand, here’s a couple tricks.
1️⃣ You can have your kid straddle the potty seat and catch the poop with the removable pot.
2️⃣ You can try a tall footstool or Squatty Potty in front of the big toilet.
3️⃣ If you’re brave, you can have your child squat on the actual toilet seat.
After a few poops, kids usually figure out that it’s just easier to sit. To read more from this blog post, visit: http://www.jamieglowacki.com/the-kid-who-only-stands-to-poop/. Good luck! If you need more help with potty training, check out our courses and certified consultants. Link in bio!

When you have projects to get done and your shop helper isn’t much help. #dadlife
It took Elliot the entire weekend to figure out why he had to put clothes ON to go outside and he was not a fan of gloves. It wasn’t that he just didn’t like them, he was TERRIFIED of them. •
But once he figured out that gloves are friends, he LOVED playing in the snow. His favorite activities were eating snow (not the yellow kind) and being pulled around in the sled (but not fast or in circles. Just a Leisurely slide around the yard) •
Happy Hump Day 🥊.
The end of our @joie_global 🙈.
On our way to play gym 👌,
When the back wheel completely snapped off 🤨.
While going down a hill luckily I stopped the pram falling over 💪.
The walk home was fun for people watching me 😜
Here is my question 🤔.
Should this happen with a pram you bought less than 10 months ago 🤷♂️🤷♂️.
I have no idea I have had a @stokkebaby for 2 years and that’s fine 🤷♂️🤨

The hits just keep on coming! Send a huge Happy Birthday to my sons! 2 years ago, these young men decided to further bring the best out of someone living way below his potential. I love you two more than you will ever understand. Your energy, laughs, love of dinosaurs, and constant reminders that I have no power in my own house because of your resounding “NO!” let me know I’m exactly where I want to be lol. Happy Birthday Cameron (juice)! Happy Birthday Aiden (troop)! #dadlife#twins#birthday#regularbrian#family#familylife
