Or see? ⠀ ✨When we go grocery shopping, Why do we feel tempted to go with the more expensive brands packaging, why do we want to pick the best looking vegetables and fruits? Why do we match our shoes to our clothes or, put on makeup and comb our hair? Why does nature have a healing effect? ...Why do those “Instagram” pictures have to look Perfect + Pretty all the time (You see those “Instagram” vs “Reality” posts?!). ⠀ By far the most important organs of sense are our eyes and we perceive up to 80% of all impressions by means of our sight. We are usually attracted by the beauty. If we put effort to look good in order to feel good, why wouldn’t we put an extra effort on our food? 💁🏻‍♀️Especially if your priority is nutrition!🍏 ⠀ 👱‍♀️👉YOU DESERVE to look good, to have matching shoes with your pretty dress👗 ..But, don’t you forget, you also deserve to have nutritious and well presented plates to nourish your body and soul!☯️ ⠀ A study by👨🏻‍🔬 gastrophysicist Professor Charles Spencer at the Oxford University has proved that making something look good makes it effectively taste better too. It was just an insanely good brownie.” — Leslie Knope #parksandrec . Knope would approve of these Paleo Hu Chocolate Chunk Salty Caramel Blondies from @eatsbyames (GF, Refined Sugar Free) . Ingredients: . For the Blondie Batter: 👉 1 cup smooth nut butter (almond or cashew butter works best) 👉1 whole egg 👉1/3 cup coconut sugar 👉2 tbsp nut milk (I use unsweetened almond milk) 👉1 tsp vanilla extract 👉1/2 tsp baking powder 👉1/4 tsp salt 👉1/2 cup chopped Hu Chocolate (any flavor) . Salted Caramel Sauce: 👉1/4 cup full fat coconut milk 👉2 tbsp coconut sugar 👉1/4 tsp vanilla extract 👉1/4 tsp salt . Instructions 1️⃣Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2️⃣Combine all blondie batter ingredients except for the chocolate chunks in a medium mixing bowl in the order that they are written. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. 3️⃣Fold in the Hu chocolate chunks. 🍫Save a small handful of chocolate to press into the top of the batter before baking. 4️⃣Spread the batter evenly on the bottom of a parchment-lined or greased 8x8 baking dish. It should be thick and sticky. If you are having a hard time time, spray a little bit of cooking oil on the back of a spoon to help spread the batter. 5️⃣Press the extra chocolate chunks into the top of the batter. Bake for 22-24 minutes. 6️⃣While the blondies are baking, you can make the salted caramel sauce. In a small saucepan, bring the drizzle ingredients to a boil. Quickly reduce the heat and simmer for 6-7 minutes or until the mixture has thickened to a consistency that is easily "drizzlable." 7️⃣Once the blondies are done baking, let them cool. When they are done cooling, you can cut them into squares and drizzle on the salted caramel sauce. 7️⃣Enjoy! @eatsbyames likes to sprinkle a little extra flaked salt on top, but that's optional! . ❌ NO cane sugar ❌ NO refined sugar ❌ NO palm oil ❌ NO soy lecithin ❌ NO dairy ❌ NO sugar alcohols

  • Back to our regular scheduled posts 😂 I always laugh a bit when I lose followers for sharing a personal photo with a personal message. I can't help but think about how shallow so many people on "the gram" are... of course it doesn't hurt my feelings or make me want to delete what I posted, but I worry for the younger girls that still seek validation from outside of themselves and get very sad and frustrated when I imagine how something like this would make them feel... Posting their truth only to get weird inappropriate messages about their body hair and people making them feel "less than". I wish I could hug them all and tell them that they are enough just as they are and to keep sharing what their truth is. ❤️ Annyyywwaayyssss ... This is liquid sunshine in a jar! 😍☀️ Oranges, tangerines, apples, lemon, and soooo much ginger. Starting the day off with citrus instead of celery juice, and I feel SO much better doing this for two days now! Still wanting to get a citrus juicer, but my juicer did alright 🙏🏼

  • Organic Vs. Conventional Meat Meat is one of those things that can be either poisonous to the body or deeply nourishing. There is no in between and what determines which one it will be is the source from where you get it. Here are some things to keep in mind if you choose to eat animal products. I always recommend buying organic and grass fed/ grass finished meat. If you aren’t concerned with buying 100% organic, I recommend at least starting with that. Its important to choice organic and “grass fed/grass finished” because on a conventional farm the livestock are fed low quality toxic grains such as wheat and corn. These animals are NOT designed to eat grains and this makes their bodies very sick and full of fat. (where every animals holds toxins) so you are directly eating those toxins from eating the animals. Recent research has also shown that conventional meat producers will even go as far as to add cardboard, newspaper, and sawdust to the animals feed to keep costs low. Some will even add toxic oils into their feeds to make them fatter. Then, the animals are almost always given antibiotics to counteract all of these behaviors above and keep the animals diseases low and in control. In addition, the animals are kept in very small spaces where they usually have no room to move around, never see sunlight, get little to no exercise and are usually standing in their own feces. So more antibiotics are required. All of this can be avoided by simply choosing organic and “grass fed and grass finished” where the animals only eat grass(their natural diet), have full access to outdoors where they get plenty of exercise, and are never given antibiotics or hormones because it is not necessary for they are living a natural and healthy life. Local is even better because you can go to the farm yourself and see the love, respect, and intention that the ranchers give their animals.

I’ll be treating my boyfriend to a batch of my choc-chunk peanut butter cookies... with a possible swap of the choc chunks for KitKat chunks, cause that’s more his speed. Recipe posted a little way back in my feed but here it is again - now go make your fave human some cookies! Wearing @roxy ✨ 🍪 1/2 cup runny peanut butter 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 egg 1 cup almond flour 1/4 block dairy-free dark chocolate, roughly chopped into chunks 1 tsp baking powder Preheat oven to 180°C. Add the peanut butter and syrup to a bowl and microwave for 10 seconds to soften, then stir well to combine. Once cool, add the egg and stir. Add the almond flour and baking powder and combine well - I normally end up using my hands as the dough is quite sticky. Gently fold through the chocolate chunks. Roll into golfball sized balls and flatten out on a lined baking tray. But when I’m done working out I’m STARVING and usually make a 10 minute breakfast that goes like this. . . . . We had lemon zest chicken wrap, tuna ciabatta, batata harra and tabbouleh. I washed it all down with Morroccan mint tea. The perfect setting for a relaxed catch up! . The menu is easy on the pocket and you'll leave satisfied having spent less than £10 most times! There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options too!

  • After eating mostly cold lunches out of containers all week it feels reallll good to be able to eat my food fresh off a plate on the weekends 🤩 Salmon patty with spinach, @traderjoes cauliflower gnocchi, kale, grape tomatoes, and a tahini drizzle. To make I just heated up a leftover salmon patty (i LIVE for leftovers), sprayed a pan with avocado oil, put the gnocchi in, sprayed the tops with a little more oil and let them cook. When they were almost done, added in the kale and tomatoes, let it all cook together for a couple mins and bam, nutritious meal in minutes 🤗

This is the most simple recipe probably ever Ingredients: ▪️1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk ▪️1 cup frozen riced cauliflower from @wholefoods ▪️2 scoops of clean lean protein smooth vanilla from @nuzest_usa ▪️2 dropper fulls of @sweetleafstevia vanilla stevia extract 1️⃣Add all ingredients to @thenutribullet and blend! 2️⃣Add all the toppings of you choice 3️⃣Do not let it over flow into your hands For my toppings, I added @paleonola grain free granola, 72% dark chocolate pieces and creamy almond butter from @wholefoods and it seriously tasted like an ice cream Sunday party in my mouuutthh 🍦🍫 Have a solid Saturday & let me know if you try this sugar free vanilla smoothie bowl! 😛🍦🍫

It’s 1/3 pkg gyro meat from Trader Joe’s, sautéed red & orange bell pepper with onions, 1 large outer iceberg lettuce leaf, 1 of @headbangerskitchen’s keto naan, & topped with 2Tbs of the spiced yogurt from @cookingwithcocktailrings’ NYC Halal Food Truck Lamb Platter recipe. Definitely too indulgent for every day, but this was a welcome treat after a heavy workout & trip to the grocery store. 💖 Happy Saturday, everyone! 😘😘
