Had an absolutely beautiful weekend to celebrate Valentines Day. It’s been raining, pouring, and gloomy as heck for a minute here in Los Angeles, but this Saturday, the weather miraculously cleared up and that made it the perfect day to spend time with my one and only. She actually needed a new head shot and I just love any excuse to practice photography so we rolled through Pasadena City Hall and explored around! Definitely need more weekends like this! And oh! 💪TAG A FRIEND to try!! Lately I’ve been changing up my tempo in all my lifts specifically in the 2nd half of my set. Instead of doing 10 normal reps try to get 5 as fast and controlled as possible and then 5 with a 3 second eccentric/negative. If you have an plateaus in your lifts definitely give this a shot 😀

Legless rope climb............ Taking the rope climb to the next level with a 9 metre climb on the infamous santa monica ropes.
When you're up that high there's little room for error but that's never a bad thing, survival instincts kick in and you get it done. And as a sidenote, the rope climb is quite possibly the single best move for the one arm pull/chin up.

Playing on the bank of the river Rhine in the city of Arnhem, the place where I grew up. The place where I spent my youth.
