“Anger and aggression sometimes seem to be protective because they bring energy to bear on a particular situation, but what needs to be acknowledged is that that energy is blind. It takes a calm mind to be able to consider things from different angles and points of view.” ~ Dalai Lama, Tibetan Buddhist monk, Photo by Shyam Sharma/Hindustan Times via Getty Images #dalailama#tibet#buddhism#anger#aggression#energy#peace#mindfulness#selfcontrol#objective#mind#coachcoreywayne#greatquotes

And when ye see this, your heart shall #rejoice, and your #bones shall flourish like an herb:
And the hand of The Lord shall be known toward His servants, and His indignation toward His enemies.
For, behold, The Lord will come with #fire, and with His #chariots like a #whirlwind, to render His #anger with #fury, and His #rebuke with #flames of fire.
For by fire and by His #Sword will The Lord plead with all flesh:
And the slain of The Lord shall be many.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith The Lord.
For I know their works and their thoughts:
It shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see My #glory.
Do not be grief stricken because of the wicked; do not be envious of wrongdoers, for they will soon fade like the grass, and wither like the green herb.
Trust in the HOLY ONE, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the HOLY ONE, and you will be given the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to and trust in the HOLY ONE to act. God will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday.
Be still before and wait patiently for the HOLY ONE; do not be grief stricken over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices. Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath. Do not become hot with anger--it leads only to evil.
For the wicked shall be cut off, but those who wait for the HOLY ONE shall inherit the land. Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look diligently for their place, they will not be there.
But the meek shall inherit the land, and delight themselves in abundant prosperity. The salvation of the righteous is from the HOLY ONE who provides them refuge in the time of trouble.
Those who take refuge in the HOLY ONE are helped and rescued; God is rescuing them from the wicked.

Going to the gym has really helped me deal with my anger management and depression. Struggling with both of these ever since a young girl has been tough. I never went on medication for it because I got addicted to pills too fast. My family life was a little all over the place growing up. It wasn’t easy. Not having a male role model in my life was probably one of the biggest challenges I had growing up. Now that I’m older I look back at some of the things I did and the way I acted because I realize that if I were to of had a male influence I wouldn’t have been so angry at the world. It’s hard growing up like that, thankfully now my father is in my life and being the best dad he knows how to be. From the age of 8 to 20 though, I struggled with my depression to the point of not eating. I was anorexic and it killed not just me but my family too. For anyone out there going through something like this just remember that your mind is a powerful powerful weapon, it can kill you, but as long as you remember that YOU control your state of mind and your emotions you’ll come out on the other side happier than ever.
As of today I am 135 lbs standing at 5’9” and I’m proud of where I’ve gotten too. I still have a lot of work, especially with the anger management, but I know I can completely control it with just a little more time and patience. Thanks for reading about my success and struggles. I hope it helps someone out there in need 💕
Front and back faces of my agate collection.
To many people, stones like these go unappreciated. To them, it's just another stone, waste money, waste time to find, think too much etc.
To me, they offer me brief respite from daily life, giving me the opportunity to appreciate their intricate patterns, colours, and more importantly let my imagination run wild🤯🤯🤯 The link below is one good example. .
Initially I can spotted the fetus image. Next is the Toshio Saeki face on the other face of the stone. As I look around the stone, letting my imagination run amok, I gradually manage to various other stuff, such as
1. image of pregnant woman on bed (front face, top left), 2. ghostly figure approaching the pregnant woman (front face, left), 3. Motherly figure beside the child face (back face, left side of child face), 4. Ghostly side view above the child (back face, above child)
I managed to string all images together and create a story. Told the story to my wife and she commented the stone is scary, don't want to see the stone anymore 😂😂😂 #agate#crazylaceagate#bandedagate#madagascar#stone#rock#nature#mineral#interesting#pattern#beauty#imagination#stunning#red#soul#torment#anger#thinktoomuch#story#scary
We all have issues that we have to work on, it's part of the beauty of being a human being.
However, we cannot allow our emotions to control us.
It's not always easy to keep your emotions in check, but when you do, it's more than worth it.
The Little Monk and the Samurai
A big, tough samurai once went to see a little monk.
He barked, in a voice accustomed to instant obedience.
“Teach me about heaven and hell!”
The monk looked up at the mighty warrior and replied with utter disdain,
“Teach you about heaven and hell? I couldn’t teach you about anything. You’re dumb. You’re dirty. You’re a disgrace, an embarrassment to the samurai class. Get out of my sight. I can’t stand you.”
The samurai got furious. He shook, red in the face, speechless with rage. He pulled out his sword, and prepared to slay the monk.
Looking straight into the samurai’s eyes, the monk said softly,
The samurai froze, realizing the compassion of the monk who had risked his life to show him hell! He put down his sword and fell to his knees, filled with gratitude.
The monk said softly,
“And that’s heaven.”
