Sometimes it’s dark yellow, sometimes it’s almost kool-aid orange, and sometimes it looks like plain water – yes, you guessed it – your pee! The color of your urine can actually determine a lot about your health!

Okay, so you might be asking yourself why the color of your pee even matters, right? Well, there are lots of reasons actually! You can even diagnose a multitude of medical issues just by assessing your yellow fluids – or is it even yellow? Well, whatever color it is, here’s what it means for your health.

If your pee has a reddish hue to it, you should probably contact a urologist immediately. It could be a sign of blood in the urine and could be an indicator of liver disease, or severe dehydration.

You’re in the clear if your pee is clear! See through or transparent urine is a good indicator of high health. Clear pee shows that your body is properly hydrated, however, there is such thing as too much water. If your urine looks like water, it can be a sign of over-hydration. People’s pee is most commonly a darker yellow color!

  • Now that I have your attention, don’t forget to meditate, love yourself, eat healthy, read books, live in the moment and be kind to EVERY being.

Day 2 of my fast:
First of all I decided to post it in English:) As I said, the goal isn’t to lose weight, it’s simply to detox my body and reset it. Some weight loss may happen naturally, but I want to make sure it doesn’t go too low. 
And yea.. all is going well! I still have lots of energy. Yesterday wasn’t that hard like I’ve expected. I’m not feeling hungry - it gets easier with the time. The only detox symptoms I had was at lunch time and than I had a cup of tea and everything was fine :) also very thankful for all your messages, this helps me a lot! 
For a fast I recommend the following herbal teas which contain important mineral salts, trace elements, vitamins, and fragrances:
- fennel (Fenchel): works against flatulence + promotes the detoxification of the intestine
- anserine: relaxes kidneys and intestines
- Johanniskraut: speeds up the mental regeneration
- lime blossom (Lindenblüten): supports the detoxification of the skin and kidneys
- yarrow (Schafgarbe): stimulates the portal circulation - horsetail (Zinnkraut): promotes kidney excretion and strengthens the skin
- lemon balm (Zitronenmelisse): strengthens the heart, nerves and female organs

  • 🍫Abs are made how?🍫 Where and more importantly how are abs made? This is a question most of you ask me because apparently my abs are somewhat visible... Alix what do you eat to get those abs? Alix what exercises do you do to get those abs?
Ladies! First and foremost your abs are made... in.. the... KITCHEN!
Your diet has EVERYTHING to do with getting that six pack! However here’s the other thing... you probably already have that six pack... but it may be under a layer of belly fat? Am I right? So how do you get those abs/shred that belly fat:

1. Do a little bit more cardio (hiit maybe) to blast that stubborn fat. Remember, belly fat is some of the most difficult fat to get rid of and will also melt away last, so be patient!

2. Exercise your different abdominal muscles to increase your core strength!
You can do isolating exercises to target these different muscles and make them super strong! But stop doing crunches all the time... it’s not going decrease that belly fat.

3. Protein intake
It’s important to eat your protein to support muscle growth to get that six pack. I however do NOT take protein supplements simply because I am of the strong opinion that I don’t need it. I get my protein from food and that’s enough for me!

4. Stay hydrated!
Yes you’ve heard this one a million times, but stick to it. Get RID of that disgusting soda, and drink your WATER! Why? Because water will help you flush away those toxins and that fat you want to get rid of. Where does the fat we lose go? It is ejected in your sweat, your urine, and even your breath! You need water to sweat and pee right? So drink lots of it (bonus points for also feeling more energized)

5. Processed food=TRASH
Please do your best to stay away from processed foods... I cannot say this enough. These foods are high in fat and sodium AND even refined sugar!!!... 🤢... they are so LOW in important nutrients... plus they are addictive because of all that salt and sugar. Look for whole foods that are high in key nutrients and that will keep your stomach satisfied for longer!

YES I do ALL of these things!!!
