Thirty two years ago, my best friend was born. My little sister @nicbranch ❤️ She’s the most intelligent, hilarious, deep feeling, talented, beautiful person I know. When she was little, my parents called her Lippy because she could never hold her tongue if something wasn’t right or fair. At only 5 she told my dad, “You’re not the boss of me!” Always forging her own path. Always there to talk for hours about nonsense with me on the phone. I love you, Nicole! It was a year ago today we found out we were pregnant with baby Rhys but it was also a year ago today that Patrick’s uncle Ralph unexpectedly passed away. Life is mysterious that way. We have his saxophone sitting out by our Christmas tree. I knew he was watching over us when we were putting up our decorations, I asked “Alexa, play classic holiday music” and the first thing to come on random shuffle was The Waitresses (from Akron!) song Christmas Wrapping which Ralph played on. ✨🎷Do yourself a favor and play it loud today xx
