All of us get to make the decision every day to choose to do the more difficult right, over the easier wrong. When we choose to do the harder thing, we always end up liking our selves more. It’s a good cycle the start.

Matti and I are so thankful for this conference. #xoconference It really doesn’t matter how great someone is, all of us are going to come into relationships with baggage. Sometimes it can be worse than baggage. The U-Haul full of unspoken issues comes and busts down our door, six months into a perfectly fine relationship or marriage!
There were a couple of terms I would always hear during my career in the NFL one of those, was stay in shape, so you don’t have to get in shape! Matti and I don’t have a perfect relationship. We can drift, get angry, or get resentful. But one thing I believe we do well, is living out the “staying in shape” principle, by giving attention to our marriage on the front end. We learned so much over the last 24 hours and it’s made me love this woman more than ever. #thankful#womanofgod

This lil CUTIE turned six months old today😍😍. I know every parent says this, but the time goes by so fast. Matti and I are doing all we can to cherish every moment....also this picture cracks me up and there has to be a hilarious caption out there somewhere 🤣
So much of our self-worth gets tied into our activity. I used to think that was all bad. That you shouldn’t put any stock in what you do to build your identity....

I think a better way to look at it is thinking about activity that creates positive feelings towards yourself. For example, I like myself better when I workout, take my wife out, spend time with Zoe or our dog @beargresham_gsp ...those things build me up. *********************************
When we DO things that make us respect ourselves, we end up creating a pretty awesome loop of healthy activity and healthy self-esteem. They create one another. But you’ve gotta get in the cycle to experience it. *********************************
Self-esteem comes from doing esteemable acts...what are you going to do now, that future you is going to thank you for? Tag someone who needs a little inspo!

You ever agree with this?? MAN, there are times when I think “ya know, I don’t feel like I bring much to the table.” I get that God loves everyone, but are you sure you think I’m good enough? ***************************************
I don’t know if you can relate, but I can have a pretty terrible inner critic who reminds me of everything I’ve ever failed at. It makes it hard to believe God is comfortable to be seen with me. The truth is, God isn’t surprised over your lack of perfection. Your humanity that comes with blemishes. He knew what He was getting into!
