🌱 There’s quite a bit of love in the ground around my backyard garden and I’m bout to make me a salad full of it right about now. These will go perfect with a sherry vinaigrette loaded with minced onions and chopped parsley. 🙌🏻😋🥗

These are no doubt the crispiest shrimp I’ve ever had and they’re loaded with flavor...dip a few in some homemade sweet chili (in the background) and you have yourself a beautifully delicious moment. 🍤 🙌🏻

UNREAL!! I can’t believe the radishes that my garden is producing!! This one is slightly larger than a golf ball (along with the rest) and still has the crunch of a honey crisp apple! No pits or hollow spots, just super dense sweet and spicy radish. I can’t wait to start picking, slicing, marinating, and roasting these beauties. Funny enough radishes were sort of “blah” to most folks until it became a common topping for avocado toast. More on radishes soon!

🍤 This dish is unreal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had crisper shrimp in my life... Oh, I also made a super easy sweet chili 🌶😋 sauce from scratch, but I’ll get to that in another post.

Fava flowers are starting to bloom 🌱 in my front yard garden bed and do you know what that means!! FAVA BEANS are coming soon! Can’t wait to make my sweet corn succotash with them big beautiful tender beans, butter, onions, white wine, marjoram, and some peppers. 😋

My favorite sandwich growing up was a salami, mustard, and sharp cheddar cheese. That was it. I even remember being excited for lunchtime when my mom packed my lunch because of how much I love salami, mustard, and cheese. So simple, but packed with wonderful sharp contrasting flavors that I still crave to this day... the only difference now is that I get to actually put it between good ORGANIC bread. One thing that I can’t do without in my sandwich prep is premium bread and @oroweatbread makes a heck of a loaf! Next time I make a salami sandwich I think I might add in some pickled peppers and arugula for a change up! #SliceofAdventure#ad

We’re all 👨👦👦 still trying to figure out how to work this darn 🚜 behemoth, but it sure is fun trying. No broken fences yet, one cracked 2” irrigation pipe (I still think it was because of the tree roots 🤷🏻♂️), built a dirt bridge across my 15ft trench, dug a 15x40x1ft water catch system (a giant rectangle hole) using a 30x50ft tarp, beginning to fix a 1000ft stretch of dirt road in front of my house, moved 3 tons of landscape rocks, building a gigantic compost pile, and the list goes on and on! 65hrs on the tractor so far and it’s been a well oiled train wreck at best, but we’re getting it done-ish.
