Julie Adams 1926~2019. I had the distinct pleasure of spending a little time with this screen icon when I was asked to introduce her a few years ago in Moraga, CA at the Rheem Theater for “Sci-Fi Day.” She was a romantic part of my (and Guillermo del Toro’s) childhood fascination with THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, which helped inspire the fishmen I have played on film. Yes, My voice got a little warbly while introducing her and her legendary film that night. May she rest in God’s peace. #JulieAdams#RIP
